Sources: TRIZ and ARITZO are two techniques developed by Altshuller Genrikh Saulovich (October 15, 1926 - September 24, 1998), to define and solve problems and projects (Problem Solving), the second Aritzo, is recommended for particularly complex situations.
In the U.S., this technique is known by the acronym TIPS (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving). Altshuller
since his first job at the patent office clerk, became interested in studying the rules underlying the creative processes, inventions and production of ideas, also worked as a journalist and writer. Writing books, articles, lectures and conferences and building managed to spread his methods throughout the former Soviet Union, prior to "export" abroad thanks to the great movement developed by intellectuals and scientists around TRIZ.
His life was pretty tough and adventurous, and even found himself in a labor camp in Russia, after being considered a dissident politician and sentenced to hard labor, which surpassed thanks to its great capacity for adaptation, endurance training, as emerges from his stories. At 14
lodged his first patent for a diving equipment and the following year he built a boat with a rocket engine using as fuel carbide.
